From the highlands of Karatu in the Arusha region of northern Tanzania, near the Ngorongoro crater. At 1,700m on volcanic soil, Tanja Estate grows this AA grade (large bean). Redcurrant and red-apple fruit meet honeyed sweetness and a hint of spice. Less sharp than Kenya, it gently bridges acidity and sweetness with a juicy, clean finish. African vibrancy, made easy to enjoy without any fuss. It is also the quiet workhorse behind two of our blends, Eungam and Inyeon.
